Frostmaster Peas - Raw Seed (Lb)

Pisum sativum subsp. arvense Cool season legume cover crop Frostmasters are a white flowered pea. They are low in tannins which gives them a sweet taste and makes them highly palatable compared to other peas. They work for both fall and spring planting, have strong plant growth and are winter hardy.  Frostmaster Winter Peas act and grow the same as the Austrian Winter peas. Frostmaster Peas may grow a little faster in the late winter, but it is only an incremental difference. The biggest difference is that Frostmaster Peas have a light green or tan seed coat and the Austrian peas have a dark brown seed coat. Frostmaster peas may be slightly larger as well, but would be planted at the same rate per area.
