Poppy - Mexican Tulip Hunnemannia fumarifolia Perennial - Also called Giant Golden Cups, these aristocratic poppy-like flowers grow 1.5 - 2' tall with upright, elegantly cut, silver-green foliage. Their straight stems are crowned with delicate 3" cups that glisten in the sun and resemble satiny lemon-yellow tulips. They are handsome cut flowers that are long lasting in fresh flower arrangements. Mexican Tulip poppies are perfect planted in groups or drifts where their eye-catching silky yellow flowers provide pools of arresting bloom. Soil & Water:Sow seeds directly into a finely textured, well-drained garden bed in full sun as early in spring as the ground can be worked. Keep soil moist as seedlings emerge.
