Technology may have chugged along since then at a mind-boggling pace. This straight razor, though, hot-forged in Solingen and bearing the German government's seal to prove that even the materials used in its making were sourced locally, is timeless. The handle is crafted from ebony heartwood and is inlaid with an engraving plate in case you feel like personalizing it. The blade is 24K gold-etched with Saturn, the moon, and several stars. There's definitely something otherworldly about just how gorgeous this straight razor is. Round point suitable for both newcomers to wet shaving and experienced shavers. Made in Germany
