“Infinitesimal Dilemma” is a painting about wrestling with the smallest problems that feel like the biggest ones. Bold reds seem to clash with white and gray in a dance of motion and tension—like a spirited discussion you can’t quite follow, but can’t walk away from either. It pulls from the abstract expressionists I admire, like de Kooning and Krasner, but with a nod to the limited color palette Guston used, and a sly wink to the playful stories that shaped me. It’s not just paint; it’s the chatter inside my mind trying to make sense of chaos without losing itself.
