The Pisgah Banjo company makes high quality, world class banjos at surprisingly modest prices. This Appalchian has a 12-inch head and Pisgah’s short, 25 1/2” scale length, which gives it a mellow, rounded tone while still producing plenty of pop and clarity. This model has a maple shell fitted with a rolled brass tone ring, a setup that produces a bit more punch and power than an all-wood rim. The maple neck is fitted with a persimmon fretboard and the headstock overlay has an inlaid marquetry star. Includes a padded gig bag.
