Build or refresh essential avalanche rescue skills in a supportive environment with AIARE-certified guides. Based in the Mount Baker backcountry, students will learn to become confident participants and leaders in both basic and complex rescue scenarios. Course Overview The AIARE Avalanche Rescue Course is intended to be retaken regularly to stay updated on the best rescue practices and gear. New participants will learn the basics of companion rescue, while returning participants will delve into advanced topics and practice realistic scenarios to improve their proficiency. Why Take This Course? Professional Coaching: Each participant receives expert coaching on their rescue skills and a rescue card acknowledging the completion date. Prerequisite for Advanced Courses: The AIARE Avalanche Rescue course is a prerequisite for AIARE
