The EXO Shrimp

The Exo Shrimp is another new bonefish fly introduced in early 2020. It's quickly become a staple fly for the guide staff at Fly Fish Guanaja and the Delphi Club in Abaco, Bahamas during our field testing!The EXO Shrimp has consistently landed a large number of bonefish on some of the most technical flats of the Bahamas and our Guanaja home flats.  Dave McKenna designed the EXO Shrimp with a new synthetic body wrap from Semperfli that creates the perfect ribbed shrimp profile. The synthetic fibers have the movement of marabou that creates constant action. A clear fiber adds a transperancy and very subtle flash. This simple combination of materials gives the fly constant leggy movement and captures light just like a natural shrimp shell. A UV-coated orange pearlescent under body folds over the rear of the hook to create a realistic spawning appearance. This shrimp casts easily and lands lightly. EXO Shrimp are tied on Umpqua U401 Saltwater hooks with medium bead chain.
