Nano Crabs

It turns out that most Caribbean reef and grass flats are crawling with tiny little crabs.  The Nano Crab is a dime sized, finesse crab designed by Dave McKenna to match this important food source. It was created out of necessity for wading and casting to spooky bones and permit.  After receiving a pack of Semperfli's new Guard Hair Chenille and matching Micro Chenille, Dave set out to make a better finesse crab. This fly lands like a feather, but gets into the zone quick.To keep top-shelf quality, we use Semper Fli Nano Silk Thread, UV Straggle Chenille, Guard Hair Chenille, and Micro Chenille for matching claws. Nano Crabs are tied on Allen's short-shank, big game hooks to ensure solid hook sets into the hardest crushers.
