It takes a real predator to hunt on the flats. Over the last decade, this fly has been taking down large permit and trophy bonefish across the Caribbean with reckless abandon. Dave McKenna combined the best parts of the classic coyote fur mantis shrimp with synthetic craft fur and our custom 3D shrimp eyes to make our favorite mantis for hunting permit and bonefish on the flats. Tied on Umpqua Saltwater hooks.
