Populis | Sauvignon Blanc

Planted in the late 40’s, this Sauv Blanc comes from vineyards that have been dry-farmed organically since its inception. It’s the definition of “chilled out.” Fresh and zippy acidity meets a satiny texture - think guava, key lime, and lemon balm, with a whisper of grassiness and just a hint of green pepper, softened and mellowed by time. There’s a flirtatious tropical note, but it never shouts; instead, it dances lightly. It’s like a Loire Valley classic took a detour through California, picked up a little sunshine and swagger, and decided to stay awhile.
