The Roto-Echo is a collaborative design between Black Mountain and Third Man Hardware, featuring Freewheel® Technology developed by Black Mountain founder Cole McBride. Unlike traditional delay pedals that offer only on/off control, the Roto-Echo introduces an integrated expression wheel that allows real-time manipulation while you play. Using your foot, you can smoothly adjust feedback, blend, and delay time without taking your hands off your instrument. This dynamic control transforms delay from a static effect into a performance tool, unlocking expressive, studio-style modulation and sound shaping in a live setting. The Roto-Echo is built to withstand performance use and can comfortably support a player’s full weight. For best control and feel, flat-soled shoes are recommended.
