CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, it is flat, rigid and lightweight. At just 205 grams (7.2 oz), it offers a 25% weight reduction compared to stock. This translates to less print defects at higher speeds, such as ghosting and ringing in the layers. The finish is brushed aluminum and anodized clear, providing an attractive yet durable surface that's resistant to wear and tear. Using slots rather than holes, the Modular 3-Point Y Carriage also opens up a wide range of options to replace warped beds.
