Sofa for Sale, Slightly Used

This evocative black and white photograph depicts a desolate desert landscape under a vast, fading sky. Dominating the foreground is the broken frame of an old sofa, half-buried in sand and tilted on its side. Its skeletal metal springs are exposed, and the wooden structure is cracked and splintered, worn down by time and the harsh elements. A nearby bush casts a long, angular shadow across the ground, echoing the warped shape of the discarded furniture.
