Although our panel is identical in exterior size and shape to the Kawasaki piece, we do not do the internal tab work for the headlights. But hey, that's no big deal. They are not needed to mount this on to your bike. Originally Kawasaki had four tabs that located the headlight into the upper fairing. But, the weight of the headlight is actually supported by the metal bracket on the chassis. Those tabs inside the headlight were only there to locate the headlight into the fairing. Usually when you crash, it busts those tabs off the headlight assembly anyhow. To mount this on the chassis, we simply take your stock headlight assembly and stick it into the metal fairing bracket on your bike. Then we slide the upper fairing on to the bike, position it around that recessed notch in your headlight. Then we attach the fairing at the mirrors at the top, and the lowers at the bottom. The
