Hondata D17A Cam Gear

Hondata cam gear specially designed to run a K Series ECU with KPro or KTuner on 01-05 Civics with D17A1 or D17A2 engines. Works on VTEC and Non-VTEC D17 engines. The stock D17 cam gear has the incorrect timing teeth to work with a K series ECU (ie: PRB, PND, PNF, etc). The modified cam gear's timing wheel teeth are set up so that it will work with a K series ECU that has a Hondata KPro system or KTuner End-User system installed. IMPORTANT: We've found that some engine's don't run on this cam gear, possibly due to the cam sensor not 'seeing' the pick up ring properly (due to metal composition or something of that nature).  This is a known issue and has NOT been resolved.  We HIGHLY recommend using our Kpro D17A signal converter (for Kpro ECU setups), or our KTuner D17A jumper (for KTuner ECU setups) to avoid this problem: Kpro D17A signal converter: 01-05-civic-d17a-to-kpro-ecu-jumper KTuner D17A jumper harness: 01-05-civic-d17a-to-ktuner-ecu-jumper
