Hardcover. Mary Warren (née Bouton 1789-1859), b. Norwalk, CT; d. Troy, NY. When 15 years of age she moved with her family to Troy, NY, where her father became a warden of the Episcopal Church there, a post he held for thirty years. As a young bride Mary took a keen interest in the affairs of the Church, teaching and serving in various capacities. After the death of her husband in 1834 she looked for a greater opportunity of service, and began a Saturday school for children in 1835. This grew into a charity school of 80 scholars by 1844, the year in which she donated the funds for the erection of the Mission
