The printer, Daniel Fanshaw (1788-1860), is best known as the printer for the American Tract Society in New York from 1825-1846. He obtained a ten-year contract with the American Bible Society in 1817, which was twice renewed. We think a collection of Fanshaw imprints would be a worthy pursuit. 643 selections, words only, plus 2 pp. of Doxologies, Table of first lines, and index.
