[11145] Leather spine, blue printed paper covered boards, oblong 6 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches, front joint cracked and weak. 368 generally clean pp., foxing on the first and last few leaves. Good. Hardcover. The music is in round notes. "Electrotyped by Smith & McDougal, 82 & 84 Beeman Street, N. Y." and "Printed by John F. Trow, 50 Greene St. New York" on the verso of the title page. Solon Wilder (1830-1874), b. & d. at Princeton, MA. A music teacher and composer, we find reference to him conducting floral concerts in the 1860's. Several of his tunes appear in hymnals at hymnarydotorg. Frederic S. Davenport, also a music composer and music teacher.
