Intro to Quilting: Piece and Quilt a Four-patch

Have you always wanted to sew a quilt, but didn't know where to start? This class is for you! Students will be guided through piecing, quilting, and binding a four-patch quilt block. Level: Advanced Beginner Pre-requisite: Intro to Sewing or familiarity with sewing basics. What you will learn: -how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and change a needle -how to measure and cut fabric -how to piece a quilt block -how to make a quilt sandwich -how to quilt -how to sew a binding We provide: thread, machines, and instruction Materials: Please bring two contrasting color 1/4 yards (or the equivalent scraps) of quilting cotton, an additional 1/4 yard for backing, a 10x10' square of cotton batting.
