  Description Construction Specifications ULTRA SERIES The Hagan ULTRA Series is dedicated to lightness and speed, while maintaining reliability in challenging and technical terrain. The ULTRA Series has been completely engineered, to create skis with better durability and downhill performance, while still shedding weight. With a double "prepack" foil made of a fiberglass and carbon mixture, in addition to a continuous top layer of carbon, we have achieved just that: even lighter skis that have improved reliability, stability and durability. No stone has been left unturned, as we even changed the composition of our top coat to a glossy finish in order to help reduce weight.  This is my go to ski for big mountain objectives with a long approach.  They ski surprisingly well downhill in crud and heavy snow.
