Pictured is a Sherpa porter on the Everest Base Camp trek, accompanying a group of hikers ahead. With his shoulders hunched under a heavy load, his head down, and steps small, he expertly navigates the rugged trail. Despite the immense weight, this allows him to move faster and farther than most typical hikers. The Anthropology collection celebrates the diversity of humanity and different walks of life all united in the quintessential simplicity of being part of one human race. By publishing the behaviors that might be different from place to place, I aim to highlight the relationship between culture and environment. Adjunctly, some characters we meet in our journeys of life are so compelling they deserve to have their stories told.
