No. 2 Operational Conversion Unit of the RAAF is a fighter training unit located at RAAF Base Williamtown, New South Wales, where pilots are educated to fly the F-35 Lightning II. Candidates new to the F-35 complete their initial fighter training at No. 79 Squadron and then undergo further combat instruction at No. 76 Squadron before entering No. 2 OCU. Upon qualifying on the F-35, pilots are assigned to one of the three operational Hornet units: No. 3 Squadron, No. 75 Squadron or No. 77 Squad
