Braid is made from synthetic material Directions for Use To attach clip to hair: 1: Section a layer of hair and set aside. 2: Snap open the clip and insert it in place underneath the sectioned layer; snap the clip back to close and secure.  3. Replace the sectioned layer to hide the clip.  To attach/detach Valier and braid: To attach: Use one hand to firmly pinch the clasp of the braid while the other hand pinches the clasp of the Valier, then, simply, connect.  To detach: Use one hand to firmly pinch the clasp of the braid while the other hand pinches the clasp of the Valier, then pull apart.
