super basic UNDERPANTS | PDF sewing pattern

The super basic UNDERPANTS are, basically, SUPER! These underpants were designed especially with round bums in mind, offering full coverage around the back then curving into a low-rise hipster at the front. The pattern pieces look a little funky, but they piece together to create some truly cozy underpants that stay put. These underpants are a quick sew, and I've offered instructions for a total of FOUR different finishes (three with elastic, and one with self-fabric). One of my favorite sewing techniques - the burrito method - of course also makes an appearance in this pattern. Please note that the final sewing pattern come up slightly higher than in the photos. This pattern was drafted for a full hip measurement between 86cm and 170cm (333/4" - 67"). Step-by-step illustrated instructions are for a standard sewing machine or in combination with a serger and provide extensive detail.
