Laser Hair Removal (X-Large)

Candela GentleLASE Plus We utilize an Alexandrite laser with a wavelength of 755 for hair reduction. This Candela GentleLASE Plus has a patented Dynamic Cooling Device that’s fast and efficient. A short burst of cooling spray is emitted just prior to the laser pulse allowing rapid treatment with minimal discomfort. Over the course of eight treatments the laser damages the hair follicle while it is in the active growth phase, thus preventing it from growing again. Since the laser is attracted to pigment, the hair being treated must have pigment to be susceptible to the laser energy. Blonde and grey hair does not respond well. In addition, the laser cannot differentiate between pigment in the skin and the pigment in the hair; therefore, we ask our patients to refrain from sun exposure and self-tanners while being treated with the laser. The hair needs to be present for the laser to identify it, so we also ask patients to refrain from waxing, plucking and using depilatories while being
