Hammer Fab Academy: Compound Curves - Feb 6 & 7, 2026

  Friday & Saturday, Feb 6 & 7, 2026 This is the one you’ve all been waiting for!  Our compound curve class is one of our most desired classes and also one of the most fun!  This is a hands on class where Levi will teach you both the basics as well as the complexities of compound metal shaping. We will cover things like “shape vs form” ,shrinking and stretching,  proper tool usage, pattern making, power hammer techniques, planishing hammer, and even a little bit of Pullmax.  This class will touch a little bit on TIG welding, panel fitment, and more!   Day 1) Metal theory slideshow with tons of critical info until lunchtime.  After lunch we will have a basic compound curve shaping competency (you’ll learn how to make the metal actually fit something right) Getting familiar with the machines Day 2) Hands on all day!  Finish your comps or move on to something more advanced like making a miniature belly tank lakester body (shape the panels to fit a wooden buck)  we also have a chop
