Riv Nut Recess Dimple Die Set - 3 Piece

These are the best quality made in the USA dimple dies available. These dies are designed to recess the flange of a riv nut in a sheet metal panel. This allows you to bolt two panels together without the obstruction of a riv nut head. These dies are CNC machined from 4140 Pre-hard alloy steel. These all have 1/4-20 threads on the female die. Drill a 1/4" hole in your panel, install the dimple, then drill the 1/4" hole out to the proper size for the desired riv nut. De-burr and install the riv nut. NOTE: *A step bit or uni-bit works best for getting closer to your final hole size.  This will keep the hole centered with the dimple.  *Can be installed with a bolt but works best when installed with our HF-D100 hydraulic installation tool with 3750 lbs of pull force.  Installation tool not included!
