Fes Jar Lamp

Paper mâché as an art form coincided with the invention of paper in China but did not gain Western awareness until the 10th century when the process earned its French name. Initially used to make helmets and ornamental masks, paper mâché became a way of more affordably acquiring wall art and decorative objects. The Fes Lamp with Shade adheres to this tradition with its paper mâché base. The white-hued base is similar to a handled vase in shape and is topped with a round black shade.
