Solid-Top Cases--Large (12" L to 20" L)

Display and protect handguns, machinists tools, artifacts, collectibles or other items. Each case is constructed using solid hardwood top and walls (walnut, oak or cherry) and finished with a clear satin lacquer. Grain is selected and matched for a pleasing look, with a decorative bead on the lid. Each case comes with two 1/2" felt-covered foam pads (one in the bottom and one in the lid of the case). Felt colors of your choice. A standard gun compresses snugly into the foam pads and will not slide around. Added compression is obtained by inserting cardboard panels underneath the bottom pad. If you wish to silhouette a gun, it may be cut into the bottom foam pad, and the felt wrapped over the foam loosely, providing a custom fit. All cases have two standard snap catches.  All hardware is a brass finish. Latches secure the lid tightly and the hinges are mounted externally with screws (not cleat type hinges that work loose). Felt is a heavy weight, washable material. The GWB1512 has 1/4"
