The man in the cape

A mysterious photo found in a flea market in Mexico City. His stance and gaze was what captivated me the most, and I knew he was destined to wear a beautiful cape to match that gaze. The embroidery is created directly onto the postcard using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread.  The vintage postcard measures 3.5"x5.5" and will arrive unframed. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back. A certificate of authenticity is included.  Also, due to the photo's age, there is discoloration /wear and tear on the edges, as captured in the images.
