Wheel-thrown dark brown clay goblet with hand painted blue goliath beetle design, framed by florals, with moon and stars.  Inside is glazed with a food safe, clear glaze. Outside is unglazed and matte, and feels like smooth stone. * This piece is discounted due to a surface crack on the area where the cup/body of the goblet meets the stem. This crack was filled with glaze and refired to add extra strength in the hopes of avoiding further cracking. It does not reach the interior of the cup at all and is therefore completely functional and food safe.
