Melt the Ice Hat

The idea behind this hat was originally created in Norway during the Nazi occupation. It was made and worn as a visible protest against the occupation and everything they stood for. It's now showing up as a sign of protest against ICE and the horrific methods they are using to tear apart families and unlawfully remove undocumented immigrants. This is my interpretation and pattern based off of recent and historical photos of the hat. It is made with acrylic yarn. Color of red may vary slightly based on availability and your screen settings. A portion of all sales will be donated directly to a local organization helping immigrants in my community.
