Turquoise Necklace with Gold Prongs

  About the Piece This beautiful necklace is simple yet intricate. A beautiful, oval, Treasure Mountain Turquoise set in silver with 14 karat gold prongs, and embellished with a light lined hammered texture. I especially loved the double prong design with this particular stone as they seemed to be the perfect contrast to the teals and reddish brown hues of the stone. This stone was selected for the Azul collection because it reminded me of the beachy desert landscapes of La Paz, Mexico. The waters were a deep vibrant teal color, and the mountains surrounding them were a rich reddish brown, creating a beautiful natural and complementary color contrast. This necklace glides freely on an 18” antiqued, sterling silver, cable chain.
