A parabola is the curve of a function like y=x2. It is also the curve of points that are all the exact same distance from a point and a line. The Polaris Pendant was formed by intersecting carefully chosen parabolas so that they frame an elegant four-sided star.Dimensions: Pendant measures 2 in (50mm) in diameter.This pendant does not come with a necklace. Our Nylon jewelry is created through a laser sintering process in which the model is fused together one layer at a time from white nylon powder. The jewelry is then dyed to give it its final color.
