Grass-fed, grain-finished, and locally-sourced New York and Pennsylvania beef.  WHY WE LOVE THIS BOX: The inspiration for Family Meal came from the chefs at our partner restaurants. The meal eaten amongst restaurant staff before a shift is called 'Family Meal'. Family meal cooking is honest, hardy, and, most often, made with whatever provisions happen to be on hand that day. We've taken that same spirit and applied it to this box.  Our farmers send us whole animals, and until the day comes when a steer is bred to be ribeye from nose to tail, we'll continue to have some cuts that sell faster than others. To give some well-deserved attention to the cuts we have in abundance, we include them in this box.
