Agave desmettiana - Tropical Agave

Agave desmettiana Tropical Agave is a good descriptive common name for this luscious-looking Agave. It has dark green glossy leaves that have a very clean-looking vertical growth habit that makes them easy to underplant with many flowering ground covers. They do have a terminal spine on each leaf but Tropical Agave is considered one of the best for around pools and has been used effectively by municipalities for years in many public spaces.
