Dalea greggii Mounding evergreen to semi-deciduous plant native to West Texas & Southeast New Mexico. Trailing Indigo has slivery-green, tiny fuzzy leaves that adorn mounds of wiry, long arching stems. In spring and fall purple pea-like blooms can cover most of the plant, which are attractive to a wide array of pollinators. Low water use & low maintenance make them an easy choice. Unobstructed plants can grow to 8 ft. across and approx. 2 ft. tall, but they more commonly remain in the 3-5 ft. wide range in maintained residential landscapes. Exposure Full to part sun Grows to up to 2 ft. high x 8 ft. wide (but more commonly 3-5 ft. wide) Hardiness Zone 7-11
