Tetraneuris acaulis (Syn. Hymenoxys acaulis) The large, cheerful 1-2 in. yellow daisies of this plant go by many names such as Angelita Daisy, Four-nerve Daisy, and Sundancer Daisy. Flowers held above the foliage on naked stems. Small mounded plants form a dense rosette of narrow, dark green leaves. They are native from high deserts in AZ northward into Canada. Numerous subspecies exist. But interestingly, this clone was originally selected from the rim of the Grand Canyon, making it a true AZ native. They are equally at home in pinyon/ponderosa gardens as they are in low to mid-desert areas. The flowers, appear in late spring and again later in the summer during the monsoon, or with well-timed supplemental water. Drought-resistant/drought-tolerant plants. Easy to grow. Rarely naturalize. Growth Guide These key details will help you understand how your plant will grow and what conditions bring out its best.      Exposure: Full sun      Mature Height: 1 feet      Mature Width: 1.5feet
