Sorry, we cannot ship citrus to some states due to USDA restrictions. See Shipping tab for more information. Citrus sp. meyeri Today's Improved Meyer Lemon is a cross between an ordinary lemon and an orange, a hybrid released by the University of California in 1975. The thin-skinned fruit is sweet and grows readily in the right conditions, in a pot or ground. Potted trees can be moved inside during the winter and preferably placed near a window that faces south. Yellowing leaves indicate the need for either water or fertilizer. In the hottest summer areas, morning sun and afternoon shade are best. Much less tart than other lemons and hold abundant fruit and flowers nearly year round. Meyer lemons make a great lemonade, Lemon curd, or simply a beautiful bowl arrangement! We offer 2' - 3' tall potted plants, ready to ship. Exposure Full sun Grows To 8-12 feet tall and wide Hardiness Zone 9-11.
