Vauquelinia californica The Arizona Rosewood is native to central and SW Arizona into far SW corner of NM. It has glossy but thick green leaves with serrated edges. Umbels of creamy-white flowers adorn the ends of branches in late spring/early summer. Adaptable, rugged, and evergreen. Usually used as a single specimen they also work as a screening hedge, wind block and even occasionally manicured into a small, multi-trunk patio tree. Easy to grow. Fire resistant.
