Dinosaur Gem Bone Necklace a Natural Fossil Agate From Utah

This necklace is made with a dinosaur fossil agate often referred to as gem bone that I cut many years ago. This is a natural stone from Utah consisting of agate in cell form that was created through fossilization. I cut this stone in a domed teardrop and set it in solid sterling and fine silver. I used recycled silver for the back and the decorative bead if you look close you'll notice is slightly darker in color. That piece I made from a piece of old ring I recycled that was gold filled over solid silver so there's a touch of gold in the bead. I textured the back of the pendant in an agate like abstract pattern. This pendant measures about 29 x 12 in mm and comes with a 20 inch sterling silver chain.
