True Hard Arkansas  stone is recommended for use in both hand grinders and hand sharpening.  True Hard Arkansas is most commonly used for industrial applications where very fine polishing is required. True Hard Arkansas is available in a variety of shades. They are uniformly opaque or translucent in gray, white, yellow, brown, and sometimes even pink.
