The Walnut Slim

Light weight and thin, our Slims are perfect for displaying food or pulling off of a shelf to do some quick cutting. Walnut wood is said to have a chocolate color, with lots of dark browns and purples. Walnut also has a light blonde color than can show up in the sap wood to greatly contrast the darker heart wood. Walnut is the only dark wood native to North America, for this reason it is one of the most sought after wood species for furniture making.
