size 3/4” This smallish Ecuadorean arboreal tarantula reaches about 4.5 inches as adults. Spiderlings have a cool “Christmas tree” pattern on their abdomen similar to Pamphobeteus that fades with age.  Adults turn a cool copper color with some pinkish highlights. Described in 1903 by legendary British zoologist Reginald Innes Pocock. These spiders were first bred in the U.S. by myself and aren’t always commonly available.
