Lidocaine HCl Injectable Solution 2% for Dogs, Cats, Horses & Cattle Lidocaine HCl Injectable Solution is used by veterinarians as a local anesthetic to numb areas prior to stitches to prevent pain. It may also be used in the treatment of irregular heart rhythm in certain animals. Recommended Dosage  Dogs & Cats - 1 mL per 10 pounds of body weight. Horses & Cattle - 5 to 15 mL Use as directed by your veterinarian. Ingredients  Each mL of sterile aqueous solution contains: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 2.0%, propylene glycol 5.2%, sodium chloride 0.5% sodium lactate 0.5%, methylparaben 0.15%, sodium metabisulfite 0.10%, propylparaben 0.03%, and disodium edetate 0.001% as preservatives. Storage Instructions Store at controlled room temperature between 59°F - 86°F.
