Sertraline HCI Tablets, 100mg Sertraline Hydrochloride is an SSRI antidepressant that works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin. It is commonly prescribed to address a range of behavior disorders, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and aggression in both dogs and cats. In dogs, it can also help with fear-based behaviors like storm phobia and noise phobias, separation anxiety, and compulsive disorders such as acral lick dermatitis and compulsive tail chasing. In cats, sertraline can address aggression, excessive fearfulness, urine marking, and obsessive behaviors like psychogenic alopecia, tail chasing, and pica.
