Cascade Yarns Ecological Wool (sometimes called Eco Wool) is a hefty skein of pure wool, perfect for sweaters. At 250g, one skein of Ecological Wool is equal to 2.5 regular skeins of yarn. The wool is lofty and next-to-skin suitable for most people. Ecological Wool is available in a variety of natural undyed colors. To find the same yarn dyed in a wide range of colors look at Eco+. Fiber Content: 100% Peruvian Highland wool Weight: Aran/Bulky (5 Bulky) Amount: 478 yards/8.82 oz (457 meters/250 grams) Structure: 2-ply Recommended knit gauge: 14-16 sts = 4" (10cm) on US9-10 (5.5 - 6.0mm) Recommended crochet gauge: 9-11 scs = 4" (10 cm) on size K-L (6.5 - 8.0mm) Suggested care: Hand wash gently in cool water.
