spiral textured vase

Oh, this little guy.  Love, love, loving it!  I add the texture and design when the pot is still just a cylinder.  I then can only use pressure from the inside of the piece to build out the walls and create the shape.  It takes a very steady hand!  But I am really loving the process on this one.  It's challenging and the end products are most certainly the rewards!   This pot is porcelain, which gives it a wonderful smooth feel.
