Spiced Chai Oat Milk Chocolate Bar This bar brings together two distinct tastes of India: cacao grown in Kerala’s lush, rain-fed hills and the chai spices that fill kitchens and teacups across the world. Roots & Culture in Every Bite In the southern state of Kerala, cacao trees thrive under the shade of coconut palms and rubber trees, fed by monsoon rains and nutrient-rich red soil. The beans grown here carry a bright, fruity character—notes of green apple, apricot, and honey—layered with warm spice and a lingering finish of dried fruit. We source these beans through GoGround Beans & Spices, a farmer-centered network focused on quality, sustainability, and community. Women lead the post-harvest fermentation and drying, and even the runoff from fermentation is turned into biogas for local energy.
