This piece pulls its powers from an ancient Chinese entity that is called the Taotie.  This is sometimes translated to mean the gluttonous ogre mask, but is a motif commonly found on Chinese ritual vessels.  The design consists of a zoomorphic mask that is bilaterally symmetrical.  It has a pair of raised eyes and has no lower jaw area.  These creatures, or entities, if you will, were engraved into bronze ritual vessels and also on grave markers, most notably for the wealth.  The idea was that this Taotie is the physical embodiment of wealth, thus they are called gluttonous ogres.  They search the realms for wealth to bring to the deceased or to whomever holds the ritual container on which the Taotie is drawn.  The piece you are getting does not have a Tao
